Why do so many of you automatically assume that those of us without jobs and living in serious poverty have substance abuse or other "life issue" (whatever you mean by that) problems? Having lived by "the rules" and also having worked on my goals, I was unexpectedly stopped short of achieving success when not one, but two, physical disabilities surfaced. There's no "help" out there, i.e., "all our funds have been used up." As to religion, it's condescending, know-it-all creeps like you who make religion such a complete turn-off. Yes, I am grateful for what I do have. I'm also grateful for what I don't have, i.e., I don't have a clueless, judgmental attitude such as yours!
